Founder & Chairman
Mr. B.S. Rao, Founder and Chairman of S P Associates, is a Civil Engineer from Andhra University with over 30 years of post-qualification experience in engineering, infrastructure, and global investments. He began his professional journey with Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) one of India's largest and most respected business groups where he served as Head of Corporate Planning. During his tenure, Mr. Rao played a key leadership role in the successful execution of the Reliance Refinery Project in Jamnagar, the world's largest refinery, valued at USD 24 billion.
In 2003, driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Rao founded M/S SP Associates, a project management consultancy specializing in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Power, and Infrastructure Projects. Under his leadership, S P Associates evolved into a multi-domain enterprise, expanding its expertise beyond engineering into the Information Technology sector.
Through SP Associates (IT Solutions Division), the company ventured into mobile application and web development, offering end to end digital solutions for diverse industries and business domains. As part of this journey, SP Associates proudly developed a mobile health and wellness application named Poshana a digital platform designed to help users enhance their lifestyle and prevent lifestyle-related diseases. Building on this success, the company now offers comprehensive IT services including mobile app development, web development, and digital marketing, helping clients strengthen their digital presence and business growth.

With over 23 years of experience, our Director is a seasoned technical professional recognized for excellence in project planning, management, design, execution, reporting, estimation, reviews, monitoring, and resource utilization. He brings a proven ability to support and deliver across multiple agile projects with precision and leadership.
He is an expert in handling diverse phases of agile project lifecycles and possesses strong technical proficiency across Web Services (Fiddler, SOAP UI, Swagger, REST & JSON), Databases (Oracle SQL Developer), UNIX (BASS PRO IV), and is familiar with Amazon Cloud testing environments. His specialized testing capabilities span Functional, Integration, Regression, UAT, GUI, Web Services, Compatibility, and familiarity with Load Testing, along with exposure to Selenium automation tools.
Proficient in leading project management tools such as Quality Centre, MTM, and TFS, he has contributed extensively to enhancing delivery efficiency and quality. His domain knowledge includes Salesforce (JET STREAM, SADB), Banking, Payment Gateways (Loyalty systems), Travel (Air Booking & Cargo Management), Telecom (Telenor Sweden), Insurance, Construction Accounting, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Security applications. His diversified expertise enables him to solve complex project challenges involving both technologies and business needs.
He has successfully developed comprehensive project artifacts and implemented CMMI Level-5 standards in project management. Known for his ability to design practical and scalable project strategies, he excels in formulating project plans at a program level and managing multiple concurrent projects efficiently.
His strong leadership, technical depth, and commitment to quality make him a driving force behind the organization’s success and continuous innovation.
